CHOSEN: Confirmation at Immaculate Conception Church
The Sacrament of Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism and strengthens those who are confirmed to witness God’s love through their words, actions, and daily lives.

At Immaculate Conception Church, our Confirmation preparation program has been thoughtfully redesigned to support students in grades nine through twelve as they grow in a deeper and more personal understanding of how God is active in their lives and within the Church. Called CHOSEN, the program invites candidates to explore their God-given gifts and discover their role as active and engaged disciples, both in the Church and in the world.

Candidates who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to register for a one-year preparation program that begins in the Fall of ninth grade, with the celebration of the sacrament taking place in the Spring.
Recognizing the importance of freely choosing Confirmation as a Catholic, the program provides meaningful opportunities for discernment, prayer, and reflection, helping each candidate encounter God’s great love in a personal way.

Throughout the journey, teens are encouraged to build friendships with their peers from the parish community and local high schools. The overall goal of the preparation experience is to nurture open hearts that are ready to say yes to God and to grow in a deeper, lifelong relationship with Him.
