All gatherings take place in Madonna Hall

What is YG180?

• YG180: Youth Group, 180 degrees, challenges teens to turn around, recognize their neighbors and gather in faith and community.

• YG180 is an area Youth Group formed for providing a fun, friendly, faith-centered space and experience for high school aged teens looking for a safe place to belong, be themselves, respected, to ask about God and discuss their faith, to grow closer to Christ accompanied by a supportive community of peers and adults.

• Mission: Participating local parishes share resources to reach, minister to and lead teens closer to Christ.

• YG180 participating parishes: St. Catherine of Siena, Cedar Grove, St. Teresa of Calcutta, Montclair • YG180 currently meets at Immaculate Conception Church, Madonna Hall, Munn Street, Montclair

• YG180 meets on monthly scheduled Sunday evenings throughout the school year from 7pm – 8:30pm.

• YG180 is hosted by YG180 Teen Core (10th – 12th grade leaders) and YG180 Adult Core volunteers comprised of volunteers from participating parishes.

• These core leader groups will meet monthly to plan and prep YG180 events. *time permitting

Core Leaders will build program awareness by presenting and leading YG – style games and talks to peers.

YG180 offers leadership roles, training and experience leading small groups, organizing /hosting events, giving witness talks

• YG180 is accompanied by LIFETEEN ministry and resources.
